Today was a busy day, lots of socialising. after a day of lectures I went on a campus walkabout with the photography society. Took lots of pictures here and got to play with some new lenses, pictures will be going up soon. Unfortunately there wasn’t much chance to take self portraits like I planned to because we were always moving.
After that I had a maths society social. This is their first social of the year and is called "The Integrating Factor." Held in the maths common room with lots of free alcohol and snacks, but again I didn’t do a self portrait. So a good but busy day. Here I am at the bus stop next to my house under a lampost. I thought the lighting was cool here so I took my SP.

This is the "naturfreunde" (nature friends) clubhouse of Muir woods. The "naturfreunde" society started in Germany during the industrial revolution, as a way for workers to organize recreational trips out to scenic nature spots. My great-grandfather started the chapter in Schnaitheim, and I think it’s a pretty rad concept!
